Join us for a safe and comfortable way to the show with various pick up point throughout the city, and several returns slots from the Sambodromo during and after the show.
Important informations and Conditions:
• Prices are per person for the round trip (from your pick-up point to the Sambadrome and back to the pick up point).
• In order for us to provide the best service, reservations for the regular shuttle service can only be accepted up to 1 month in advance.
• This service is not private – in order to reserve a private transfer please contact us.
• Remember that small cars cannot access the Sambadrome, only 15-Seat vas or bigger.
• Cancellations can be made up to 14 days prior tothe Carnival parade.
• Pick up points: The shuttles have pick up points in all main hotels in Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, Barra da Tijuca, Botafogo and Centro.
• When reserving the transfer shuttle service remember to let us know where are you staying so we can assign you to the closest pick up point possible.
• Six different slots will be provided for the shuttle transfer back: Each one will be 15 minutes after the end of each Samba Schools Show, from the first to the last. The representative will be waiting at the meeting point with Red flag and direct you to yourbus.
• It is very important to mention which sector you have tickets for, as both sections (odd and even numbers) need different shuttles that go on different routes. Rio-Tickets is not responsible for any delay, misunderstanding, and time lost due to writing the wrong sector at the time of reservation.
• For those who purchased a VIP Lounge ticket the shuttle service is already included in the price.

• Please be aware – It is quite difficult to access the stadium area during Carnaval, and the traffic jam can cause delays. Rio-Tickets is not responsible for delays occurring because of traffic. Refund Protection allows you to cancel your Carnival ticket purchase and receive a refund, subject to the terms outlined below. Refund Protection must be purchased at the time of the ticket purchase and must be applied to each individual ticket in your order. It cannot be added afterward. This protection covers cancellations up to 14 days before the event date. After this period, refunds will no longer be available.
Coverage and Eligibility
Refund Protection applies to the total cost of your Carnival ticket purchase, excluding the cost of Refund Protection itself. The protection allows for a full refund under the following conditions:
- Refund Guarentee coverage only the grandstand tickets and Front box tickets. VIP Lounge cannot be covered for a refund guarantee.
- cancelation of your booking for any reason up to 14 days before the event.
Exclusions
The following are not covered by Refund Protection:
- Cancellations made within 14 days of the event.
- The cost of the Refund Protection itself is non-refundable under any circumstances.
- If the event is postponed or rescheduled, Refund Protection does not apply. However, you will be eligible for a transfer of tickets to the new event date (subject to availability).
- Refunds are only applicable to the original ticket purchaser and cannot be transferred to other individuals.

How can I collect my tickets?
When purchasing your carnival tickets from Rio Tickets, you will receive a comfirmation email with your reservation number. Save this email, it will be necessary as proof in order to claim your actual tickets when you arrive in Rio.
When in Rio, come to our Carnival Center located at the Arena Copacabana Hotel to collect your tickets in person. Alternatively, If you prefer, we can have them delivered to your hotel at an additional cost.
Can I cancel my reservation or make changes?
Tickets can be canceled or altered until August 31st, 2024. To cancel a reservation, please contact one of our specialists directly.
VIP Lounges can not be canceled or changed in any case.
As of September 1st, 2024 no tickets or VIP Lounge tickets can be refunded or canceled, and will be subject to a cancellation fee.
If the show is postponed, then your tickets will be automatically altered to the new dates, however we won't be able to refund the tickets.
Requests must be made under the same name as stated in your documents. If the name of the buyer needs to be changed, simply send us an email with the new name and your order confirmation.
To change your email, simply send us a copy of your passport and the order confirmation.
What documents do I need to present when collecting my tickets?
After arriving in Rio, head to our Carnival center at Arena Copacabana Hotel, where you can receive all the necessary information about Rio's Carnival. To collect your tickets, simply present the receipt we sent you by email, along with a copy of your ID or passport.
Please note that the tickets can only be collected with the document of the same name that appears on the reservation.

How to get to the Sambodrome?
• For the odd-numbered sectors, the best ways to access the Sambadrome are by taxi or subway (Estação Central/Central Station).
• For the even-numbered sectors, it is recommended to take the subway to the Praça Onze station.It's not recommended to go by car because there is no parking in the area.
• Municipal buses are also not recommended because they are not safe on carnival nights.
